We have established our online store for your convenience. If you know what you need, we hope you'll enjoy the experience. But if you have any questions, we strongly urge you to call us.

IMPORTANT: Due to a significant amount of fraudulent orders originating from the Indonesia, China, Taiwan, and Malaysia, we ask customers from those countries to include the name of their credit card issuing bank or financial institution (not Visa or MasterCard), and their email address and telephone number in the "Special Instructions" section of the online order form. Thank you for your understanding.

How We Ship

Choose from 5 standard shipping options, other options are available upon request. Please be advised that the costs shown on your checkout are estimates only and will vary, some more and some less. Actual rates charged will be the lowest possible to provide the security, delivery times and type of service you request. If your shipping estimate appears excessive please contact us for an exact quote. You may also check the shipping rates from USPS and UPS.

• Estimated USA Shipping - USPS 1st Class/Priority
  Weight, value and destination determines method and costs. Insurance will be added to shipments over $150. Method less expensive for lighter items.
• Estimated USA Shipping - UPS Ground
  Includes insurance and tracking. Method less expensive for heavier items. Weight, value and destination determine costs.
• Estimated International - USPS 1st Class
  Lowest cost, weight, value and destination determine costs. Under 4lbs, and value under $300.00. Insurance fee will be added for all orders over $100, no tracking without insurance, limited tracking with insurance. Customer assumes risk in the event of loss or theft.
• Estimated International - USPS Priority
  Weight, value and destination determine the need for insurance. Delivery confirmation available. Insurance fee will be added for all orders over $100. Limited tracking.
• Estimated International - UPS Worldwide Expedited
  Includes insurance and tracking.

Shipments Within the USA

We normally ship UPS Ground or USPS Priority Mail. We can ship to your home or work address.

International Shipments

We use USPS Air Mail or USPS Global Priority Mail. Shipments may be allocated to several small packages. All invoices and documentation are shipped in a separate Air Mail envelope.
NEW As a result of new European Postal Regulations that require your telephone number to be incorporated on shipping labels, please include your telephone number on online order forms, faxes, emails and any communication requesting an order.

Shipping Cost Estimates

Shipping charges for online orders are only estimates and may vary from actual shipping charges. Please contact us for accurate shipping quote, another option would be to include a note requesting an accurate rate before shipping. Other shipping options may be available for your location.

Shipments within the USA
UPS does not deliver to PO Box shipping addresses. Should you choose an option that does not include insurance where we would require it, you will need to state, in the checkout note section, that you are accepting full responsibility of any damage which might occur or loss of parcel.

International Shipments
UPS does not deliver to PO Box shipping addresses. Shipments may be allocated to several small packages. All invoices and documentation are shipped in a separate envelope.

Note: Shipping fees are estimated. In the event that actual fees exceed the estimate we will add this fee to your order total. Please note that in the last several years the shipping rates have significantly increased.

Canadian shipments
Will usually be less than quoted. In the checkout notee section, you may want to request an accurate quote.

New Zealand shipments
UPS only offers one service, Worldwider Saver (Express) which is usually $10-15 more than quoted online, USPS Priority insured is usually $1-6 less than quoted.

South Africa shipments
UPS only offers one service, Worldwider Saver (Express) which is usually $40-150 more than quoted online, USPS Priority insured only delivers to 11 major cities: Bloemfontein, Cape Town, Durban, East London, Germiston, Johannesburg, Kimberly, Port Elizabeth, Pretoria, Randsburg, Sandton City.

Returns and Exchanges

You may return your purchases in original condition within 90 days for a refund or exchange. Damaged goods or purchase received after 30 days will be assessed a minimum of 10% restoration or restocking fee. Please notify us if you intend to return your order and if possible include a copy of your invoice. You may return orders by US Mail, International Air Mail (foreign) or UPS.

If We Are Out Of Stock

We make every effort to be fully stocked. However, the DCC industry has demonstrated about a 60% success rate in maintaining stock. Items that are back ordered will be shipped at a reduced rate. We reserve the right to cancel back orders on items that are not available within thirty days.

Locomotive Advanced Reservations Policies

We charge your credit card account only when we ship. No deposit is required.

• Heavier items of 3 lbs & over will cause additional shipping/handling charges
• Additional USA UPS services (3 Day, 2 Day and Next Day) are available at your request, prior quotes via order notes, email or by phone.
• We do not guarantee all items in stock, see below.
• Online quantity discounts may not be calculated correctly herein and will be adjusted on shipping invoice.
