(Tower Controller)  64 line I/O controller, configured as 8 eight line ports. Each line may drive up to 15ma. at 4.5V when configured as an output and is equipped with 4.7K pull up resistors to allow use with contacts, open collector, or logic level circuits when configured as an input. Includes connectors and LocoNet® cable.
Review

This board operates as a DCC occupancy detector for 8 blocks using remote CT coils. It outputs logic levels, and has a Tower Controller standard ribbon connector interface. The "Power-Lok" feature monitors the DCC bus power. A power failure latches the detection status of each block until power is restored and re-stabilized.

8 CT (Current Transformer) coils for BOD-8CTL. These 100:1 toroid coils sense the track current on leads passing through the hole in the middle of the coil. They connect to the BOD8-CTL with twisted pair cable such as CAT-3 or CAT-5 network cable. (up to 4 coils per cable)

(DC 'H' Bridge Driver)  Normally operates as eight independent "H" bridge motor drivers for control of 8 switch machines. (E.g. Tortoises™) It outputs DC at whatever voltage is supplied to the board via an external connector. (25VDC maximum) Each output line is rated at 1/4 amp continuous, 1 amp momentary. The DCDB-8 has a Tower Controller standard ribbon connector interface. (Note: This version of the board is limited to not more than 4 units per TC-64)

(4 Aspect Signal Driver Rev-b) This board is specifically designed to drive simply wired 3-4 aspect position signals utilizing 3 yellow LED's in series for each position by providing 9V to the internal dropping resistors. Multiplexed outputs allow for direct drive of four 3 or 4 aspect signal heads mounted along a single 10 wire cable. No extra hardware is required at each signal head. The 4ASD-4 has a Tower Controller standard ribbon connector interface.

(Single Coil Solenoid Driver) This 8 line, optically isolated, single ended, high current, high voltage DC driver can drive up to 1A per line at up to 30VDC. (PTC fuse limited to 2-3A total per board for safety) The SCSD-8 has a Tower Controller standard ribbon connector interface.

(Stall Motor Driver) This 8 output optically isolated low current "H" bridge driver is designed for control of 8 stall motor switch machines. (E.g. Tortoises®) It can drive up to 100mA per line, speed regulated output 4 to 12VDC. (PTC fuse limited to 200mA total per board for safety).

(10 conductor flat ribbon interface cable) 100' rolls, #28 AWG gray with red stripe on line 1. Used to connect any daughter cards to the Tower Controller. Also used to connect signals to the 4ASD board or to the Tower Controller. (cable is heavy and may incur extra cost for shipping)
