Roco #46800 DB KRAN Digital (Railroad) with DCC

1. Read the Instructions that came with the Crane. The Factory default address is 08 or 07.

2. For Digitrax Users only: The Crane has a 14 step Lenz Decoder. Perform a "Status Edit" for this decoder to change command station to 14 speed steps. See Digitrax manuals.

3. To Raise or lower the BOOM, set F0 to OFF, and F1 to ON. The yellow LED will BLINK SLOWLY. If the direction switch is set FORWARD, the boom will Raise when the throttle is turned on. If the direction switch is set REVERSE the boom will Lower. For NCE and Sys., I use F0 or Lite & F1.

4. To Raise or lower the HOOK, set F0 and F1 to ON. The yellow LED will stay on SOLID. If the direction switch is set FORWARD, the hook will Raise when the throttle is turned. If the direction switch is set REVERSE the hook will Lower. For NCE and Sys., I use f0 or Lite & F1.

5. To SWING the Cab, set F0 to ON, and F1 to OFF. The yellow LED will BLINK fast. If the direction switch is set FORWARD, the Cab will turn Clockwise when the throttle is turned. If the direction switch is set REVERSE the Cab will turn Counterclockwise. Note that the clutch lever on the side of the chassis must be in the UP position - it clicks into place. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO TURN THE CAB BY HAND IF THE CLUTCH IS ENGAGED - YOU WILL DAMAGE IT. The Cab may not turn immediately, but will start in a second or so. REMEMBER TO DISENGAGE THE CLUTCH WHEN YOU ARE DONE OR IF YOU INTEND TO MOVE THE CRANE BY RAIL OR PUT IT IN ITS BOX. (See Figure 4)

6. To activate the optional accessory plug on the cab front, set F0 and F1 to OFF. The yellow LED will turn off. If the direction switch is set FORWARD, the accessory will turn ON when the throttle is turned. If the direction switch is set REVERSE the accessory will turn OFF. This socket is rated at 250mA. (See Figure 8)

7. Turn the throttle to 00 before changing functions, otherwise the new function will start moving when it is selected.

8. The Decoder Address can be changed following the system's programming instructions.

9. A Kadee number 18 will work on this crane in the existing pocket.
