Using Le130 decoder to control transfer and turntables.
by Bill Armstrong

The Lenz 130 load compensated decoder used in conjunction with the NCE Pro cab in yard mode provides prototypical indexing for transfer and turntables. I tested and set initial parameters of decoders, including address, on a decoder tester. Installation for the transfer table took a feeder from main power bus to terminal block to decoder to terminal block to motor leads.

Track power was wired from a separate feeder. Installation for turntable took a feeder from main power bus to terminal block to decoder to terminal block to motor leads. Track power was wired from a separate feeder to Tony's PS/AR auto reverse breaker to turntable bridge track. Separate track power was fed to the lead track and to the stub tracks off of the turntable.

The use of the terminal blocks provides an easy installation and removal of decoders and circuit breaker.
