I have posted the following announcement from Lenz which describes the evolution of their popular Le 103, low priced, advanced performance decoder which details new configurations and added features. I will post prices when the info is available.

Subject: New Decoder Anouncements from Lenz GmbH

Lenz GmbH is pleased to announce the following new products. Please note that all decoders are currently in transit from Germany and we should be shipping all decoders to dealers by the the end of March. We are sorry that we have been out of stock on some decoders but perhaps now you will understand why.

1) LE103XF Release 2 family of decoders

Our popular LE103XF decoder family has expanded and also has a few new features. All members of this family now have 3 output functions and have the industry's best packet reception software. The 3 outputs are Outputs A, B and C. Outputs A and B can be used for either directional or independent lighting and either or both of these outputs can be dimmed. Output C has ON/OFF, blinking, or alternatively on/off and blinking.

The members of this family are

LE102XF-JST : This is the LE103XF decoder with a NMRA 9 pin JST decoder connector. It can be used with the Athearn 2-8-2, to replace an existing decoder that uses the 9 pin plug or used with one of the wide variety of harnesses from a variety of manufacturers. The LE102/JST does not come packaged with a harness. MSRP - $23.50

The following options include a LE102XF decoder and a harness. Harnesses can also be ordered separately.

LE102XF-WH: LE102XF decoder with 200mm wire harness. MSRP 25.95

LE102XF-MP: LE102XF decoder with 88mm harness and NMRA 8 pin plug. MSRP $28.95

LE102XF-LP: LE102XF decoder with 200mm harness and NMRA 8 pin plug. MSRP $28.95

LE103XF: Same ultra thin decoder with soldered wires at the same price but now with 3 output functions . MSRP - $24.95

LE104XF: Same ultra thin decoder with soldered wires and NMRA 8 pin plug at the same price but now with 3 output functions . MSRP - $29.95

2) LE077XF: Yes it's true! The first shipment is on its way. The world's smallest NMRA DCC decoder. Rated for a .5 Amp continuous current draw, the LE077XF sports 2 output functions that can be configured for directional or independent lighting with either or both outputs dimmable. MSRP $24.95

Other Items of Interest:

Set-02 can now be ordered with either an LE103XF or LE077XF decoder. Set02 is being shipped from Germany this week for delivery by the beginning of April.

The LC100 is now back in production. The LC100 allows any other DCC system to be used as a handheld to a XpressNET based system. We expect delivery in a few weeks.

The LA150 XpressNet adaptor will be placed in production in the end of March. Expected delivery mid to late April.

Version 3.0 for Set-03 will begin shipping mid-late may. There is a lot in this new release. More later.
