The QSI Dynamo Keeps on Going and Adding New Features Buy QSI Products

QSI has added several new features to the Q2 decoder firmware used in our popular Q2 G scale and Revolution sound decoders including an improved chuff with Progressive Cutoff.
All QSI Q2 sound files built after July 23, 2009 include these new features. When using the QSI Programmer, Q2Upgrade ver 1.11.0.0 and Quantum CV Manager ver 1.6.0.0 must be used. Available for download at QSI Solutions (ext. link).
- For diesel and gas turbine firmware, use CV55.21.0 to specify the number of speed steps per notch.
- Use CV55.154.SI to configure an automatic Grade Crossing Horn Signal.
- Support for F13-F28. Use CV53.15.0 thru CV53.30.0 to specify which features these function keys activate.
- CV56.9 BEMF to SMPH Trim
- Odometer functions.
- CV56.13 Chuff Interval Trim
- CV56.0 bit 3 Calibrate BEMF Synchronized Chuffs is supported.
- For diesel, electric, and gas turbine firmware, you can use CV55.3.5 to configure the bell to turn on automatically when a horn blast occurs.
- You can use CV55.84.SI to configure the ditch lights to strobe when the bell turns on.
