Soundtraxx has announded and is beginning to ship the Micro Tsunami. Do not expect off the shelf availability until they ramp-up the production. Generally the Micro Tsunami is comparable the HO Tsunami except it's much smaller at 1"L x 0.5"W x 0.22"H. Here is an abbreviated/edited copy of their announcement.
INTRODUCING MICRO-TSUNAMI!
We are pleased to announce a new addition to our product line - the new
TSU-750 Micro-Tsunami Digital Sound Decoder! This is the world's smallest
16-bit digital sound decoder! This full-featured decoder measures just 1"
long x 0.5" wide x 0.22" and is rated for a 0.75 Amp motor stall current.
This little decoder will easily fill your needs as a replacement for DSD-090
steam decoders - yes, it is smaller!
In short, the Micro-Tsunami has all the same powerful features you are used
to in the TSU-1000 with only one exception - instead of four lighting
outputs there are two. Big on features, small in size!
What's Available
We've listed the part number and the whistle selections here for your
convenience. In addition to the whistles provided, each decoder also has
many recordings unique to that prototype which may include the exhaust,
airpump, dynamo, blower, bell and more. This means that in some cases you
may see a whistle used on more than one decoder, since they were often used
with different sizes and types of locomotives
