Team Digital is pleased to announce an innovative new DCC accessory decoder, the Servo and Motor Controller (SMC4). The small size, flexibility and low cost of modern servos make them ideal for animation. Now you can animate your layout like you have always wanted with semaphores, crossing gate and roundhouse doors. You can also move turnouts at the speed you desire.

The SMC4 controls four servos and four stall type motors. Each output can individually be assigned any address from 1 to  2040. It has eight inputs for local control of the outputs and 16 programmable routes.

The servo outputs (two position) and stall motor outputs can be individually used for turnout control. The servo outputs can be used for turnout control and the stall motor outputs can be used for servo position indication. The servo outputs (three position) can be used for semaphore control and the stall motor outputs can be used for turnout control.

A very unique feature is Speed_to_Position.  This is an optional servo behavior that allows a throttle to variably control the position of the servo. Just as a throttle can be used to change an engines speed, so can it be used to control the position of a servo.

"Smart" and "Dynamic" programming provide for easy SMC4 setup and servo adjustment including range and speed of movement.

In addition to the SMC4 there is a SMC4 Servo Package. This includes a SMC4, four small servos, two 36" servo extension cables, hardware and linkage for the servos.

HO Dual-Mode Sound Decoder For The Atlas S2/S4 Locomotive (0001663)

Model Rectifier Corporation announced a full-featured sound decoder for the venerable Atlas S2/S4 locomotive employing MRC’s “Brilliance™” sound. Installation is accomplished after minor (filing) modification to the locomotive's top weight, and simple four wire soldering to the wheel pickups. The onboard-mounted speaker eliminates additional installation wiring or modifications, and makes available (33) horns, multiple-bells, brakes, air releases, pop valves, cooling fans, coupling sounds and more. Front and rear directional lighting is included too.

MRC Sounder (0001665 and 0001666)

Add Powerful Diesel Sounds to Your HO DCC Sound Equipped Locomotive

The Sounder is a sound-only decoder and speaker that's easily added to any HO locomotive equipped with a standard non-sound decoder. MRC's Sounders add all 28 NMRA accessory sound function capabilities to locomotives regardless of the make or brand of decoder installed. The railroader simply "hooks-up" two wires to the track power pickup points in the loco. Our new diesel locomotive addition to the Sounder line, the diesel's "3" Sounder, provides three new and genuine Alco "F Unit" and SD60 prime mover sounds like selectable (33) horns, 8-bells, brakes, air releases, pop valves, cooling fans, coupling sounds and more. And not just sound! Using simple soldering techniques, the Sounder can provide a full complement of locomotive lighting effects: Prime Stratolight; Mars; Ditch; Gyro; Strobe (single & double); and on/off function for internal lighting.

Our new steam Sounder with features similar to the diesel unit reproduces eight articulated and eight non-articulated steam locomotive prime mover sounds. Both decoders come with 28mm speakers and a baffle.
