Analog Bug in TTE/GP7 Decoder.

Recall of P2K-SR (TTE/GP7) decoders.

Several owners of the our new P2K-SR (TTE/GP7) decoders have discovered a problem with decoder operation in analog (DC) mode.

If analog operation is enabled in CV29 the decoder will operate correctly on a DC Layout but will become uncontrollable upon return to DCC operation. You will not be able to disable analog mode after enabling it rendering the decoder useless.

We've traced the problem to an improperly programmed microprocessor in some of the very first production decoders. We're not sure exactly how many decoders have the problem but it is limited to the decoders built on the afternoon of first day of production and less than 250. We are contacting our dealers that got the first days shipment so we can replace them. We've also changed the version to 3.1 so you will be able to differentiate them from the potentially problematic 3.0 version.

Only P2K-SR (TTE/GP7) decoders are affected shipped before 01-25-01. All subsequent shippments have corrected software.

We, (NCE) will immediately exchange your version 3.0 decoders for correct ones if you return them to:
