Sound for Bachmann 2-8-0 (Spectrum)

If you plan to use a Soundtraxx DSD unit for steam sound, remove the existing circuit bd and DCC socket and wire to the internal plug terminations in the tender. This frees up space for sound unit and makes it easier to install 1" dia. speaker below coal load.

Atlas GP-7 Warning!

Some DCC decoders with the NMRA plug may have plugs where the overall height of the plug will cause an interference fit between loco body shell of frame. This may cause the wires soldered to the plug to distort & short to each other thus damaging the decoder. So far, the overall height of the plug assemblies on Digitrax D120p & DH140p decoders seem to be the most prone to this condition.
