To Boost or Not To Boost.

Many folks who call me assume that they need more
power (boosters) than necessary or that they need a second booster
for auto-reversing.
Contrary to most popular DCC makers recommendations
(they want to sell you more boosters), our experience has shown
the following run and power requirements. Table shows approximate
number of locos (powered) per DCC booster.

This table assumes an average of loco draw. For auto reversing
Tony's PowerShield
auto reversing modules are very cost effective. Even if you
require multiple boosters it is better to use reversers for
small loops.
