New Soundtraxx PnPs.

Soundtraxx unveiled two new DSD100 PnP sound decoders at the Big E show in Springfield, MA this past weekend.

While there we met with Nancy and Larry and they presented the Bach Spec HO Shay, the LLP2K GP 7, 9 30 & SD60 PnP sound units. We quickly installed both units and were up and running in the respective locos.

As we have come to expect from Soundtraxx, both units installed easily and worked great. The Shay unit plugs into the DCC NMRA receptacle in the tender with the speaker mounted in the Tony's 3/4" SpeakEZ in the bunker. We ran this loco for about 18 hours without a hitch.

The LLP2K unit mounts on the top of the frame and plugs into the NMRA socket bd like the Tony's GP7 decoder. We used a GP30 because it will accept a Tony's 1.1 speaker and speaker assembly. This unit also ran for 18 hours.
