NCE Corp has finally committed to a release date for its long awaited Duplex Radio interface (wireless) upgrade for the popular "Power House Pro" and "Master Series" DCC Systems. The duplex feature provides for all the same aspects of system operation in the wireless mode as in the tethered mode and both modes can be used simultaneously. This feature will make NCE DCC systems the leader in wireless capability.

The upgrade requires at least one base module, RUB-01, that plugs into the cab bus and one cab module that plugs into the various cabs. There are three types of cab modules:

(1) A unit that plugs into Pro Cabs with back access hatch easily visible on back of cab.
RUC-PROCAB

(2) A unit that plugs into early Pro Cabs (Lower than V1.2) and Master Series cabs without back access. Kit comes with replaceable cab back with access hatch.
RUC-PROCAB(B)

(3) A unit for all intermediate cabs. (NCE and System One)
RUC-CAB04/05

Notes: Clubs or large layouts may require a second base unit. System One Master Cabs can be upgraded to Pro Cabs by NCE.

Production units are to be released in July and the current backlog is to expected to be satisfied in several months thereafter.
