DCC Sold Out!

Apparently the expanding popularity of DCC coupled with Holiday buying caught some DCC manufacturers unprepared. Both Digitrax and NCE Corp were unable to keep up with demand so DCC users have been waiting ... reminiscent of the earlier days of DCC that I thought were behind us!

I expect NCE to catch up in several weeks.

Digitrax's recovery will range from 4-8 weeks. Their backlog is primarily a result of the popular, new generation decoder line announced in the fall, too many new products, too soon.

Shipments on most of the HO and N scale "PnP" decoders have been spotty and should meet demand in 8 weeks.

The DZ143, not produced since October, is commencing this week.

Zephyr's are almost caught up!
