Broadway M1 Shipping

BUY HERE

We have waited a year for the PRR, M1A, M1B, they arrived today and were immediately put to the test. The fine detail is consistent with the BLI "Paragon Series" offerings, i.e. Hudson, N&W 2-6-6-4, T1, GG1 and is noticeably more refined than the "Powerhouse Series", i.e. 2-8-2 Heavy Mikado.

The M1 conveys a big and bossy appearance. Low speed control and traction were good, our test unit pulled about 20 cars up a 2% grade. We also attempted to derail the M1 by high speed reverse running pushing about 10 cars, all wheels and trucks stayed in the groove.

The whistle is different and distinctive, very nice, and the chuff is the same as the others. Unfortunately, the operating user will still have to tinker to fabricate a front coupler. We will report are results tomorrow on front coupler installation. We told them this a year ago with the Hudson!!!!!!!!!!!!
