NCE Introduces Minimum Advertised Pricing ("MAP")

In a bold leadership move Jim Scorse of NCE Corp is introducing MAP, Minimum Advertised Pricing to the DCC arena. Essentially, a manufacturer who establishes a MAP policy can legally dictate the minimum advertised price that their dealers or distributors can advertise their products for.

NCE Corp's motive is to preserve the quality of their products and to insure a quality, service oriented distribution, dealer and hobbyshop network.

As DCC popularity has blossomed so has the emergence of all types of questionable suppliers who are dumping and price gouging products with no knowledge or interest in supporting what they sell. "The MAP will discourage this", says Scorse.

Tony's applauds and completely supports this effort and is urging other DCC manufacturers to also adopt MAP.

For more detailed info, here are copies of the original MAP documents NCE forwarded to dealers and distributors.
