AUGUST 9, 2005- AN INTRODUCTION TO BLACKSTONE MODELS

Blackstone Models, is a new kind of model train company dedicated to the creation of high quality models, blending old-world craftsmanship with today’s state-of-the-art electronic technology.

Blackstone Models is pleased to introduce a new line of affordable ready-to-run HOn3 locomotives and rolling stock. HOn3 is the perfect scale for the modeler with limited space, but the desire for a narrow gauge empire!

Our first offering is the classic D&RGW K-27 “Mudhen”, a 2-8-2 Mikado. Other narrow gauge engines will soon follow, each with die cast construction, intricate detailing and optionally offered with a SoundTraxx Tsunami Digital Sound Decoder.

Blackstone Models will also supply rolling stock needs, beginning with our 3000 Series D&RGW box cars and 5500 Series stock cars.

While our initial focus is on producing a line of HOn3 products, we are certainly interested in any suggestions you may have regarding other projects in any and all scales and gauges.

Blackstone Models operates as a division of SoundTraxx and can be reached through our offices in Durango. If you have questions regarding the product line, please feel free to contact us. The Project Manager for Blackstone Models is Jeff Johnson and he can be reached at the main office for any questions and or suggestions you may have.
