Bachmann / Soundtraxx On30 Shay with Factory Installed Tsunami
Buy Bachmann Here
Today the new Bachman 0n30 Shay with factory installed Tsunami arrived. A
first glance shows that the locomotive has all the hallmarks of the Bachmann
Spectrum line, nice detailing, decent pulling power and, thanks to the
Tsunami sound decoder, stunning audio effects.

Similarly to the previously
released Climax, the Shay comes undecorated with a wide variety of decals
for easy customization of your road name and number as well as your choice
of fuel loads (coal, wood or oil bunker).

One of the more interesting visual
features of this loco is the T boiler, which is a feature of older Shays
(especially narrow gauge) often overlooked in the modeling world. The
interior detailing is quite nice as well with a firebox door that actually
opens and all the appropriate levers and gauges.
On the whole it's quite a
nice little loco, so if you're looking to haul some logs on your 0n30 line you
should check this one out.
