Product Supply News
Our next large shipment arrived this week. It does take a few days to
process and package before we start shipping to our dealers.
After 4 years of having common products in stock, the past 6 weeks has been challenging .
We will shorty have decoders: Gold MINI-W, Gold Mini-D, Silver Mini,
Silver Direct, Gold-JST, LF101XF, LS100, LA010, LB101 (occupancy
detectors), LK100, BM-1 and BM-2 all back in stock.
LI-USB and LI101F computer interfaces, back in stock.
We are still out of LS150s, LR101s, and BM-3s. They are being produced in
May, but delivery will not be until late May - early June.
We apologize all these delays and ask for your patience in getting caught
up.
System Wide Upgrade
At the Dortmund Germany show, the new Lenz Version 3.6 software was
announced. Version 3.6 will increase the demands of the ever expanding
function need by some sound decoders. Our system will now be able to handle
F0-F28. And will have the ability to set each to momentary or on off. We
have also added some further enhancements :
- Full support for all NMRA functions
- Ability to read CVs on the main (requires a Railcom equipped decoder and
a Railcom detector)
- Functions are not sent on startup allowing sound decoders to remain off
until they receive a packet.
- Improved database support
- Improved programming support to make it easier to program sound decoders,
even higher current ones
- Full access to all 1024 CVs in both service mode and ops mode
- A full stack in the LH100 that whose size is user settable
- Single key access to read or write a sequence of CVs
- We now refresh functions F1-F8. The user can change this to refresh
F1-F4 or F1-F28 if desired.
We have done a lot to increase interchange and improve operation and expect
our users to enjoy these new features.
Customers need to make a reservation with us to schedule a time for their
upgrades. The LZV, LH90s and LH100s will have new software. The LH90 V3.6
upgrade adds support for 28 functions. Their systems and throttles have to
come in to Chelmsford for their upgrade.
We are only upgrading the systems in the North American market. If
customers are not in the North American market, they are to contact the Lenz
distributor in their locale.
Details about cost, terms will be announced on the web site and newsgroups
in the coming weeks.
Current standing orders for Set-90 / Set-100, LH100 and LH90
They will be
shipped when the upgrades are installed, several more weeks or so.
