NCE Sneaky CAB06P and CAB06PR Surprise Release?

NCE Has Been Able to Incorporate the Popular CAB06 Technology into the "P" Versions of Their Intermediate Throttles!

Background

Prior to the release of the CAB06s, NCE had two main variants in their intermediate throttles:

• P=Trim Pot, the throttle knob has hard stop at zero speed and a hard stop at full speed
• E=Digital Encoder, the throttle knob continually rotates in either direction. This allows the user to change direction w/o the direction switch.

The initial release of the CAB06 form the both the tethered and Duplex Radio versions utilizes the E=Digital Encoder technology. At that time NCE was not able to perfect the P=Trim Pot variant. Apparently this has now been resolved and NCE is beginning to ship the CAB06P and the CAB06PR.
